Most Finnish Radio Stations not working

Hi all,

I’m quite new with roon and I love it and would like to sometimes listen the radios through roon, but I have a problem to listen most of the live radio stations in Finland.

These stations not playing, gives an error message: “Unable to play this station, address may have been changed, or it may be temporarily unavailable”

Iskelmä Helsinki
Radio Helsinki
SuomiPOP
Radio Aalto
Radio City Helsinki

These stations plays a message in finnish something like: “Dear listener, in order to play this station you can listen it in radioplay.fi service, or use radio play app…etc”

Kiss FM

This radio station gives an error message: “playback was interupted because a track failed to load”

Hopefully I can some day listen these stations through roon. Thank you for your hard work solving problems and helping people!

Hello @Staaken , we may have a problem here…

Many of those stations use stream.bauermedia.fi to stream the audio. We have had problems with Bauer before (in the UK see this thread ).

Let me explore further and see if I can find alternatives.

Edit: Radio Helsinki should work now

I have added SuomiPOP but am failing on all others.

You might be able to add some via Tunein. (See help page )

I’ll continue exploring for a bit but I may have to unlist the problem stations.

Thank you for your work, Hitmix is one of my favourite atm. I’ll look into that Tunein.
