Move to OSX Catalina - iTunes Library

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)
Nucleus Roon v1.6/416

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

Description Of Issue
My Roon library is also my iTunes library and it sits in a 1TB SSD in my Nucleus. Everything works fine.

The reason for using the Roon to store my iTunes library is that it is nice to be able to copy my library to my iPhone via iTunes, so when I go out in the car I still have access to everything.

The impending arrival of OSX Catalina, will get rid of iTunes which will morph into three different apps. Do your foresee any problems when upgrading?

Thanks
William Allbrook

Hi @William_Allbrook,

Your iTunes library can be added in the same way as before by using watched folders. For playlists, you can still export the XML file which will work, but the XML file doesn’t automatically update as it did previously.

Helpful, thank you.
