MQA files identified in playlists

Hi,

I’m using Roon with Tidal and would like to know if there’s a way to have all MQA files marked as MQA when looking at titles in a playlist ?

The way it is right now the only way for me to know if it’s an MQA file is to click on the purple light button to know if it’s an MQA file after it has already started playing.

When I’m using the Tidal software MQA titles are clearly identified as MQA in a playlist and would like to have the same in Roon.

Hey @CamHC,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you!

I can only hope that, in the meantime, you’ve been exploring Roon. You can see the MQA badge on albums. You can enable this in Settings → General → Customize Album Display.

This isn’t exactly what you’re looking for, but it is definitely a good starting point

At the moment Playlists do not display format information, MQA or otherwise. That would be a great Feature Request! I can move your post to that section if you’d would like.
