Description Of Issue
I find in Tidal app (IOS, or mac desktop) some MQA albums, but in Roon I see that are labeled as CD. When playing they are rendered as MQA files.
Hello @Gregor_Pompe, and thanks for your report! I’m seeing the same thing on my side and we’re taking a look into the issue.
It is now showing properly on this album. It looks like this album was only recently made available in MQA, and so it was able to play properly in that format but our information hadn’t had time to update.
There is a great deal of such albums. It is possible that they were added recently. I will inform you after month or two.
