Hello, music lovers!
I am totally new here and don’t know much about roon - or streaming / downloading music for that matter.
Being 71 years old I do have thousands of lp’s, cd’s and even sacd’s. So I am very curious about the capability of the much praised roon software to handle multichannel recordings. Because (to adress even non-classical music lovers) once you have heard Dark Side of the Moon in a top quality multichannel setup you don’t want to ge back ti stereo… Keep the quality high!
Unfortunately Roon does not support multichannel recordings at the moment. They are exploring it and I’m sure it will in the future. See this for more details.
With Trifield through my Meridian G61R all stereo is Multi Chanel…
