Multiple controllers - sharing sessions

Hi there

I suspect I know the answer to this, but will ask anyway.

I have a Roon ROCK NUC and a number of controllers - iPad/Mac/iPhone/tablet

Is there anyway to start a session on my Mac, then continue that session from my iPhone ?

As I say - I think the answer is probably no - but you never know !

Yes, check out this section …

  1. Click the double arrow to bring up the Transfer Zone picker if you want to transfer this queue to another zone

Others have explained how to transfer a zone, i.e., a listening session, but is this what you mean? Or did you mean maybe transferring the current UI setup (e.g., a Focus) between control devices?

If you just mean using a different remote than yes just switch it to the zone that’s playing. There are no limits on how many controllers can be used or connected at once. If you want to transfer the play queue to another device the answer is also yes. You can move a queue to any device in the list of active zones.
