I’ve had a series of occurrences of devices running Ropiee going offline and not able to be reached.
One device is a Pi Zero 2W. Problem seems to correlate with installing 2026.04 and perhaps enabling Airplay. I’ve since upgraded to 2026.04.1 and turned off Airplay, but after a couple of days the problem has reoccurred. Feedback # 343880f4f2a2898c

‘Stopped responding’ meaning “I can’t get to its webpage?” And you needed to restart the unit?
Both devices no longer appeared as an endpoint in any Roon Remote, and couldn’t be reached via their webpage. A third ropiee instance did not show them in its devices page
The pi Zero 2W uses WiFi and my UniFi network controller shows the device is not online when the problem is occurring. Power cycle fixes the issue temporarily.
The pi 4b (one time occurrence so far) is using a wired connection and did show as online in the UniFi software, but had the same symptoms. Power cycle fixed it.
Both feedbacks were collected within a couple of minutes of device restart.
Yeah… the logs look fine, but obviously it did not capture what actually happened.
Let’s keep an eye when it happens again: ideally you would be able to send feedback without restarting the unit. On a Zero this probably requires a cable connection.
