Multiple discs in one set aren't showing up

Content you’re reporting an issue with

I’ve started to import Bob Dylan & the Band 1974 Live Recordings. There are 27 discs. Some discs show up as part of the set. Others as separate discs. So, for example, I see discs 1-4, and 6 as part of the set. Disc 7 and Disc 8 appear as separate recordings, and the original multiple set (i.e., discs 1-4,6) no longer show up. Is there an easy way to fix this?

Have you made any edits to this content in Roon?

Is the album identified in Roon?

Is this content from local files, TIDAL, or Qobuz?

Description of the issue

David,

Tagging discs under these circumstances can seem an intimidating business.

But it needn’t be  .

The first thing to try would be to read this page so that you are in full compliance with best practice.

What it may boil down to is making sure that you use your tagging software to ensure that each CD in the set is numbered correctly. That is:

CD1, CD2, CD3, CD4 - with no spaces (that is, not CD__1 etc, where ‘___’ means space) for each and every CD in the set.

Then make sure (as you probably are doing) that they are all being imported into the same folder - such as ‘Bob Dylan 1974’.

If you’ve done that/are doing that and still having problems, please do come back here with screenshots etc and we’ll surely help you; good luck!
