Multiple Endpoints and Quality

Not really a support question i suppose. I have now managed to set up roonbridge with a dac in 3 separate rooms synced under RAAT, (boy is my wife happy !). I am getting a lossless path to all rooms playing simultaneously which is fabulous. The question is whether there is any quantifiable quality compromise in doing so (CPU load on core ? )

It sounds good (trust your ears of course) but i’m just curious…

[/quote]Only if you believe in ghost stories.

I’ve run a ps audio ds jr DAC with bridge II and 2-3 macmini’s with Roon bridge app and usb oppo ha-1 dacs all together with RAAT grouped and sync is fabulous, Apple TV was hopeless for sync with a group.

Makes Roon all the more impressive. After several disappointing attempts at reliable and high quality multi room over the years I had all but given up. Then Roon comes along with a UI to die for and effective high quality sync is just a “bonus” - fantastic
