Muse function requests

You are not showing the chosen Parametric EQ name on the Muse page for Parametric EQ. Only the active preset for the whole Muse setup on top of the view.

If you show the Parametric EQ name beneath the save/edit button, it would make my day better.

You should also allow us to update existing presets with new values, insted of forcing us to create new, each time we make a change. I ended up with 20+ saved curves, insted of a few.

The actual EQ is fantastic!

I’m an early adaptor of Roon, been using it for 10+ years, wonderful product!

You can edit an existing preset, change the values, and save.

Nope, only change the name… All changes dissapear, I’ve tried…

That’s not my experience. Select the present, make a change (you’ll see an asterisk next the the preset name), and save. Works everytime for me.

I’m on an iPad, no asterix on the chosen, and nothing saved…

Nothing on the PC either, no asterix and no update possibility, even worse there, as I have so many presets that I have to scroll, but no visible scroll bar, and when I try to scroll I end up in the save/rename field every time, the field where one can only rename and save the name of the curve, not update it.

This is a mess…

Thanks for helping, not sure what interfce you are using.

I’m running the latest Roon server on a Windows PC, and the latest client on an iPad.

Screenshot from my iPad after loading a preset and then changing it. Note that you can choose Save preset as… to save it under a new name:

This is not the section I’m talking about, this preset saves the whole Muse setup, including the eq, but also all other settings.

I’m talking about the Parametric EQ presets, which you haven’t activated…

Beneath the save/load EQ there should be a field showing the chosen EQ preset/curve, and the same save button as for the Muse preset, to update the eq preset with new values.

The three dots behind each preset only givesa menu to update the name.

Didn’t see the save button on the Muse preset before, so that was a help from you, thanks!

Those are saved along with the overall preset. Just save a complete new preset when you change the PEQ

But I guess I see what you mean, unless I totally misunderstand the GUI there. I am unable to load, change, and resave a PEQ under the same name. I can save it under a new name, but if I change one, all the others seem to have changed too, when I try to reload them. Plus, there should be an asterisk next to the name of a changed one, just like in overall presets. Looks like a bug to me.

Fun fact, the save button for the whole Muse is only active if there are changes pending, thats why I didn’t see it when I checked…

No asterix on my chosen preset, but the name is at least partitially showing on top…
