above stopped 1056am
Hi @Alex_goodhart,
Thank you for your patience as the team examined diagnostics we’ve collected from the Nucleus+.
We’ve identified a pattern of runaway memory consumption, likely caused by backed up metadata updates and audio analysis that is not concluding during background work and spilling over into listening sessions.
The team has a ticket in the pipeline to review this in depth and apply relevant fixes.
In the meantime, we have a few recommendations:
First, set Background Audio Analysis Speed to Off (Settings → Library). This immediately stops the native memory ramp and the CPU burn.

Next, restart the Nucleus+ and wait for twenty minutes. Then, navigate back to Roon Settings → Library and set Background audio analysis to “Throttled.” Set your On-Demand Audio Analysis to “throttled” as well.
Let us know if this helps. We’ll follow up once we learn more from our end. Thank you again.
By restart do you mean unplug
Can’t find anything called restart
Not unplug, as that does not allow Roon Server to shutdown in a controlled graceful manner.
Please depress the power button and then release it.
This will trigger a controlled shutdown of the device.
Give it a minute and the press then power button again to power it back again.
