SYSTEM
Roon Core Machine: Innous ZENith MK3 (Quad-core CPU) (8GB RAM 4GB dedicated for RAM playback)
Networking Gear & Setup Details: ORBI RBR50
Connected Audio Devices: Innous ZEN MK3 is connected to ORBI RBR50 and Nas drive via Ethernet
Number of Tracks in Library**: 43,753 tracks in my music library which is on a Nas drive
DESCRIPTION OF ISSUES
1 – When I click on “My Library/Artists” only a partial listing (29 as indicated below) of the artists that are on my Nas drive and on Tidal is listed as being available. However, when I search for an artist that is NOT shown at “My Library/Artists”, all of their albums appear. This matter had corrected itself when I hard booted the server, but that no longer resolves matters.
2 - After clicking on some of the “Recommended albums”, several are listed as “This album was not found” despite that the album is available when searching for that specific album. Similarly, some songs on my playlists are listed as being “unavailable” despite that the song is available when searching for that specific song.
Thank you for your patience. Please note that we don’t officially support the Innuos Zen MK3 as a Roon-partnered RoonServer device, although many users on this forum have used them successfully and can provide assistance.
The symptoms you’ve indicated generally indicate one or both of the following:
An underpowered RoonServer device that is struggling to index and analyze the library content
Network reachability issues between your RoonServer machine, any networked storage devices, and external upstream servers like Tidal’s. A common failpoint for all three can be WiFi interference or DNS - I recommend hardwiring as much of the setup as possible via ethernet to the main router and verifying that you have a reliable DNS server assigned in your router administration.
