Hello @ok6971,

Welcome to the Roon community! I am so sorry to hear about the playback issues you are experiencing. Hearing broken music and static noise from a flagship device like the Nucleus Titan is incredibly frustrating, and we want to get this sorted out for you immediately.

To figure out exactly where this static is being introduced into the audio chain, we need to isolate a few variables regarding how the Titan is connected to your system and your home’s power.

Could you please share a few more details and try a quick test for us?

  1. How is the Titan connected to your audio gear?

Are you outputting music directly from the Titan using a USB cable connected straight to a DAC? Or are you streaming the music over your network (via your Ansuz D3 switch) to a separate Roon Ready streamer or network endpoint?

  1. The Power Outlet Test

Static, hum, and broken audio in high-end setups are very frequently the result of a “ground loop” or electrical interference coming from a specific wall outlet, power strip, or power conditioner.

  • Please temporarily plug the Nucleus Titan’s power supply directly into a completely different wall outlet (ideally in a different room or on a different circuit breaker entirely) to see if the static disappears.

Would you let me know exactly what audio endpoint the Titan is playing to, and if the static persists after trying a different power outlet?
