Description Of Issue
Sounds stops, everything is showing music processing/correct title -no sound after an hour - uninstalled & reinstalled three times…
Does this issue only occur on your PS Audio Dac zone?
If you try to output to System Output, ,do you notice the same behavior there?
Are you using the latest firmware on the PS Audio DAC?
System output plays to iMac? Had system working and third song iPad froze up - would not take commands - walked back in to iMac and it was working - showing playing but was not going to system…

Is there an alternative to Roon?
You should have Roon.dmg installed on the iMac and the Roon App from the Apple App stored installed. The iPad connects to the iMac and all the processing happens on the iMac (since it is the server).
Yes, System Output plays to the iMac’s Internal Speakers. I am trying to determine if just the PS Audio zone has this issue or if all zones in Roon exhibit this, so please test the System Output zone when you have a chance and let me know if that works as expected.
After iPad was loaded from App store things got better! Played normally for several hours until the iPad froze up - no music, would not take commands, restarted and it played. This am started back up and left on - playing well now!
