Description of Issue

I accidentally switched the power off to my nucleus and since turning it back on Roon no longer can access music stored on a Seagate solid state drive connected to the back of the nucleus. Under Settings, Storage it states that (Nucleus>Seagate Expansion Drive>Recordings) “This Drive is no longer available”. The external drive is still physically connected, but Roon no longer seems to be able to access the drive. Roon is accessing my Tidal account as normal, but not my personal music library. Are there some steps I can use to troubleshoot this problem?

Thanks

Dave

If the external drive was formatted ntfs then just killing the power could have caused issues. You might need to plug it onto a pc and have windows scan the drive for errors.

Roon recommends connected drives be formatted exFat.

OK thanks, I will try that

Rugby,

That worked brilliantly. Thanks very much.
