Describe the issue

I can't get music to stream, to both my NAD and BluOS controller. It was working just fine until a few days ago. I've rebooted my MacBook with no luck.
I even tried bypassing Roon and play music off of the BluOS app. Music plays for a few seconds then no sound.

Describe your network setup

Wifi set up but I've added an extender that is plugged into the BluOS streamer. The NAD unit is not connected (as it's always been)

Hello @jrocc64 ,

Thanks for your message.

Since this happens with the BluOS app as well, this sounds like a hardware issue, have you reached out to BluOS support yet?

You may want to try to remove the extender and revert to the previous configuration. Extenders can be susceptible to WiFi interference.

I’ve disconnected the extender, and it didn’t make a difference. Everything was working fine with the extender for the last 2 weeks. I didn’t contact BluOS yet since I tried just streaming from the Roon app to my NAD player. It wasn’t even waking up from sleet mode. Do you think resetting my Roon subscription from your end will help?

Hey @jrocc64,

Thanks for the additional info! A follow up question for you : do you have any issue playing audio from the system output of the Mac itself?

With that, from a Roon Server diagnostic report, it appears that your Macbook Pro is potentially showing multiple IPs addresses tied to it, it may be worth reviewing your router settings device list and confirm that your Mac and other Roon remote devices are all on the same local subnet within your network. Here’s more info on this:

Let us know your findings :+1:

Thanks for the follow up. Yesterday, the issue went away without me doing anything so this is a total mystery. To answer your question, I have no issues playing audio from my MacBook. I’ll let you know if the problem resurfaces.
