Describe the issue
Roon& Tidal recognizes my linux server and Sonore Optical Rendu. My wifi is rock solid. Problem: music tracks will not play and program commences rapid scrolling through all the tracks but will not play OR, track sometimes plays for exactly 30 seconds then goes to next track for exactly 30 seconds BUT, usually just get the rapid scrolling through an entire album/recording and nothing plays
Describe your network setup
Linux Sonic Transporter (Small Green Computer Co.) and Sonore Optical Rendu,
To help us investigate, could you please retrieve the logs from your Roon Server folder as outlined in this instruction and upload them to our Logs Storage.
Please also note the exact timestamp of when the problem last occurred so we can easily locate it in the data.
A similar issue was recently reported by another user here:
Upon investigation, our team identified that this rapid scrolling behavior is caused by a RAAT protocol version mismatch. We recently implemented some important security updates in Roon version 2.61, and Sonore will need to release a software update for their devices to get them back in sync with the current RAAT protocol.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns in the meantime!
