My current Roon Core running on a NAS had its SSD fail so that I cannot longer acess my Roon Core or any of my music files

I then went ahead and purchased a new Roon Nucleus Plus. I started the setup of that. I logged into my existing Roon account and I immediately saw the new Roon Core on the Nucleus +. I hit the connect button on the screen (running on my Apple IPAD mini). The next screen was to login to my Roon account which I did. The next screen says - Are you Online and asks me to Unauthorize my previous Roon Core. Everytime I press the Unauthorize button, it just keeps asking me to Retry and nothing that I do allows me to login to my new Roon Core on my new Nucleus Plus.

Roon Core is a new Nucleus + which arrived today - 5/9/2023.
My Apple IPAD is my roon remote, my Imac desktop and my new Nucleus + are all on the same network. The Nucelus + is on the network via an ethernet cable as is my Imac.

My previous Roon Core’s SSD has failed so I am unable to connect to my previous core or even see any of the music files. (luckily I have a full backup of the music files).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Rather than entering your credentials, try restoring a backup. The option is at the bottom on the screen.

As @mjw says, don’t log in to your new Nucleus, but restore a backup from your previous system. That’s the step that is given in the Nucleus Migration Guide…

Thanks everyone. I finally got it to work last night. I rebooted the new Nucleus + and the problem disappeared so I was able to connect to the Core and load all of my music from my backup hard drive.I am playing music this morning already.

Again, thanks for your quick responses and help.
