I think most people in the forum really want to learn and help as the opportunity presents. Speaking only for myself, I tend to learn a lot by trying to help a person through a problem.
Well, I’ll also state for the record that I recognize mental illness is serious business. No way I’d want to impugn the seriousness of the condition.
Yeah, it’s more about the really deficient social skills or really odd behaviors. I feel worst for people who find it hard to just say “I don’t understand how to do this”, or “I am having a problem can you help me?”. But anyway, diversity comes in all flavors and you just have to savor the whole mish-mash. It’s better that way.
