I have a Nucleus one with 2 terabytes of internal storage. I am told that 0% is available for new albums. My question is how I can free up a large amount of storage by removing albums? I have already run the cleanup facility in roon. I simply don’t see a way to delete albums.
You need to go to My Library and select the albums you want to delete. Then click on the ellipsis, then Edit, and scroll to the bottom of the pop-up and choose Delete.
You will be presented with a warning that this action permanently deletes the album. This action is irreversible, so make sure you have a backup and do not rely on download sites retaining a copy.

The three dots … it is visible when one or more albums are selected.
I found the ellipsa, but when I click on it and scroll down, there is no “delete” -only a “ban” button.
Choose “edit”, just above ‘ban this album’, then scroll down.to ‘delete’.

Just a note when deleting albums using Roon, it doesn’t delete the folder that contains the album (nor any image/pdf files in the folder if I remember correctly). To delete the folders and any remaining contents, you would need to access the Nucleus internal drive from another computer and delete them (for example using File Explorer from a Windows computer).
As far as Roon is concerned, it’s not a big deal having these folders remaining, but personally, it would drive (lol) me nuts. 
Thanks for the suggestion, but I find it difficult to access the Nucleus drive from Windows explorer. Do you know an easy way?

I had to apply the fix @Geoff_Coupe mentioned to my Windows 11 (Home Edition) computer to access the drives on my Roonserver device (Salkstream III).
BTW, how are you currently adding local music files to the Nucleus since it sounds like you can’t access the drives via Windows?
I drag and drop my ripped files directly on "albums in the Roon app. I can add files now that I cleared out around 360 gigs of albums from my internal drive.
You also could have added an extra USB hard drive to the Nucleus. Removing files from what is a limited storage location that is growing will only end you up in the same place again. Adding extra capacity is the only long term answer.

I manage all files external to Roon and only add them to the watched folder when I am happy, I personally woud take @Rugby advise , a 1 or 2 Tb external USB Drive is not a major investment
I had to move the 2TB drive from a unfixable Nucleus plus to my Nucleus one. It was a lot of trouble for me. So, I won’t open the Nucleus again unless totally necessary. Thanks for the suggestion, but not necessary for me.
