Description of Issue

Attempted to reboot Nucleus. Upon powering up, it is no longer visible on network. I have tried to connect it directly to monitor with HDMI out, but cannoT get any visible output.

I think it may be dead.

I’m afraid it does sound like it maybe bad.
Let’s see what @support have to say it will not be until the weekend is over I’m afraid.

Power it down. Open it up and remove the m.2 boot SSD. See if it shows anything on HDMI on power up. If it does, then the m.2 SSD needs to be replaced.

Nothing shows up when I remove the M2 SSD.

Hi @Kevin_Johnson ,

If there is no HDMI output, this sounds like a hardware issue, unfortunately. If you connect the power and open the Nucleus cover, do you see the motherboard Green LED lit? If it is, you can try to see if a CMOS battery reset will help:

If the CMOS doesn’t help, then it’s possible that the motherboard is failing and you would need to send it to us for replacement. It does look like you are past the 2-year warranty, so please note that there would be a fee associated with the repair. I would suggest trying the CMOS reset first thought, that has sometimes brought dead motherboards back to life.

I’ve tried the reset without success. How do I go about getting the unit repaired?

Hi @Kevin_Johnson ,

Sorry to hear that the battery reset didn’t work out. I’ll follow up via private message to gather purchase and shipping details, let’s please continue the conversation there, thanks!
