My Roon app cannot find and connect with my new Roon nucleus

I just got my Roon nucleus and connected power and used an old Ethernet cable to connect to my xfinity gateway XB8
I have an old Roon app on iPhone and iPad that I used to connect to my core on my MacBook Pro. The app cannot find my new Roon nucleus. It can find my MacBook if I turn that on. When I turned on the MacBook it asked me to update to Roon 2.0 but I did not get that message on my iPhone or iPad.

Ethernet connection to BlueSound node which connects with my Meridian 861 which feeds my Meridian DSP7000 speakers
I have a Sony TV next to the nucleus that I can connect to the HDMI output on the Nucleus. Will that help in troubleshooting.

Is this a brand new Nucleus? If so, you may need to update it to the latest Version of Roon.
Also, have you read through the KBs on migrating to and updating up the nucleus?

Thanks Menzies. Deleting and reloading the Roon remote app did not work. But it was a nice exercise to learn more about my iPhone.

I will try updating the Nucleus software next.

Hey @Louis_Neistadt,

Based on your account information, it does appear that you’re running version 1.8 on your iPhone, not Roon 2.0.

I would again test out fully removing Roon from your iPhone, and download the 2.0 version from the link below:
