My USB hard drive with my Roon library/backups got corrupted: freaking out

From this response I assume you are plugging in and unplugging drives “dirty” meaning you are not properly unmounting the drive before removal. This will lead to data corruption. You should be removing the backups and watched folders from Roon settings before removing the drive.

Another option is to is shutdown the system then move drive around and power back up.

USB is hot plug but filesystems are not.
