my very basic report on latest update (2.66)
-random album: i don’t believe it! finally, one of the oldest feature requests! it works on win11 desktop and android app
-looking in settings, i’ve found out this setting (i don’t know if it’s new, or it come from one of previous updates):
I’ve changed my settings like this:
because I’d like that not completeley played albums would be considered as unplayed. but i’ve not noticed any changing… partially played album are not considered as unplayed. so maybe i’ve misurandestood the setting. does it work only for albums in the “Listen later” list? wouldn’t it be possible to extend this setting to all albums? (maybe configurable in setting, like here)
-finally, ROON ARC: i’ve never submitted anything about it - except at the very beginning - but on my android smartphone (samsung galaxy A34) it simply doesn’t work. it never had.
I’ve tried today, after update of the app, and I see always the same problems: playback stops after some minutes and I have to press “play”. or app crashes.
I want to say that this is not a network problem: I can play remotely with no problem on the smartphone using ZeroTierOne (and in this case the steam is not converted in lossy format!).
So, ARC is still more or less unusable for me.
Anyway, I appreciate the new focus option: i’d like ARC to be more and more similar to standard roon app (track playcounts, composers, performers etc)
