I'm hoping you can help re-enable certification for my Mytek Manhattan II on my account.

I've used the Manhattan II successfully with Roon for several years, and it has always been recognized and certified. Recently my server hardware failed, so I had to do a clean reinstall of RoonServer (running on a Mac). Since then, the current version shows the Manhattan II as uncertified, and I'm unable to enable the device.


Could you please push the certification match for the Manhattan II to my account so I can enable and use it again?

Happy to provide any logs, my account details, or device information you need.

Welcome to the forum! On our end, I am seeing the Manhattan II as a Roon Ready DAC, so it is strange that it is not showing as such on your end. We’ve enabled diagnostics to see what exact issue the device is reporting, can you please let us know when you’ve had a chance to use your Roon Server next and we’ll check the diagnostics? Thanks!

Thanks for your patience as we looked into this. Can you please try to update your Mytek to the latest firmware version? We were looking at similar reports and found that a firmware update resolved the other affected user, so please give this a try on your end and let us know if it helps.

The users with similar reports confirmed that the issue is solved in the latest firmware V3.7.56. Would you kindly double-check with Mytek why your unit is still on v2?

The network card firmware and the DAC firmware are separate. The network card on Mytek devices from that generation is modular, so it will have a different firmware version number than the mainboard firmware version number.

From our understanding of this conversation, it looks like you need to get in touch with Mytek directly to inquire about how to update the network card itself to firmware v3.7.56.

Wanted to follow up on this. We had mentioned that the network card firmware and the DAC firmware are separate on those Mytek units, and that the network card uses its own version number.
