And the beat goes on.
On and on ![]()
Yeah, it must be that you’re just bent on their destruction for shizngiggles and not that their products aren’t worth the price and their customer service is beyond repugnant
. Sounds like the same type of thin skinned individual that sues CBS because they don’t like the spotlight on their shady practices.
Oh, wow! The next letter will likely be notice of legal action. ![]()
Cease and desist me daddy ![]()

It doesn’t sound like Mytek can afford to pay its counsel though…
Empty threats.
Michal isn’t going to raise anything with Roon. Rather, Roon should be grilling him about this thread.
If you’ve read the thread where he got into a spat with Amir, you’ll no doubt appreciate the truly upstanding kind of guy that Michal isn’t.
So, @Vinit_Desai1 did you get the refund last week? Or is Mytek going to accuse me of smearing campaign again? ![]()
nothing from Mytek
Some openness and transparency from @Mytek_Audio would be welcomed about now for current customers and any potential customers.
Not shopping for equipment as I am very happy with my current gear. But Mytek won’t be greeting me as a potential future customer after reading all this. That is for sure.
Well, are you actually a Mytek customer? Is he asking a fair question?
I mean, there are enough people in these threads who try to be Mytek customers but so far have only managed to send them money, but not to get a product from them in exchange. Maybe that’s the problem he should focus on.
There was another guy on the forum very focal who was found to never be a Mytek customer.
So IF there are true customer experiences (who knows), they get mixed with fake experiences.
I doubt there are so many impostors for such a long time
I am not (and won’t be). I never said I was. I got interested in this because of ASR thread where Mytek owner got into argument with Amir, though I am not an ASR forum member.
A few years ago I was scammed out of a significant amount of money while doing business with another manufacturer, so I understand the frustration and just hate the idea that someone can just get money from a customer and then repeatedly lie about the refund or just go silent for months or years even. There’s much more snake oil and scammers in the audio world than let’s say 10 years ago, this is just sad to see those things happening and I am rooting for fellow music enjoyers who were unlucky enough to go through this.
@Mytek_Audio seems to be the only one concerned with you being a customer or not, as if your experience speaking to customers is invalid because you yourself didn’t fall victim to their scam.
There are a number of brands I haven’t and wouldn’t do business with on my own ethical grounds, but that certainly isn’t going to stop me from sharing the reasons I won’t buy from them. Strider Knives is one such company. Mick Strider is a valor stealing criminal who’s built a company pretending to be some sort of military bad-ass, despite washing out with a OTH (other than honorable) discharge, and then spending time off and on in prison while he couldn’t hold down a real job, until he started making knives and marketing them as designed for the military by a former “special ops” solider. Even the dates on his own about page contradict each other. From most sources Strider makes a decent, if ridiculously overpriced, knife. I couldn’t care less if his knives cut through Mithril lined Adamantium and never require sharpening. Mick is a valor thief and a liar and he won’t ever see my money.
I appreciate your comments and dedication @Ken_W. You help guide people to relevant info about companies, and from what I’ve seen, are nothing but honest. So, thank you for that.
I have a Brooklyn bridge II. I got it before all this mytek crap started. I tried contacting mytek support and was unsuccessful. At that time, I got more help from HEM in Poland than I did from mytek in US, and I’m in the US!
Edit: correction. It’s a Brooklyn Bridge. My bad. HEM was still very helpful.
I was under an impression that Brooklyn Bridge II was produced after they split (?).
Wait, it’s been in the back shelf so long I forgot what it was. My apologies it is a Brooklyn bridge. ![]()
