· NAD C 368 + MDC BluOS 2i disappeared as a Roon Ready zone My NAD C 368 has an MDC BluOS 2i module. It has worked as a Roon Ready endpoint for months. BluOS is currently working normally. I can play TIDAL through the BluOS app and also use TIDAL Connect to stream directly to the NAD. However, the NAD has completely disappeared from Roon → Settings → Audio. It is not listed as a Roon Ready device at all. Roon is running on a Mac Studio. Both the Mac Studio and NAD ultimately connect by Ethernet to my Fios network; the NAD's Ethernet connection goes through a Verizon Fios extender. I have restarted Roon, restarted the Mac Studio, and power-cycled the NAD. The NAD still does not appear in Roon. This appears to be specifically a Roon Ready/RAAT discovery problem between Roon and the BluOS 2i, since BluOS and TIDAL Connect continue to work normally.

Since you’re running macOS, the behavior you’re seeing is consistent with the newer, stricter Local Network permission controls in the recent macOS releases.
Please try the following steps:
Open macOS System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network
Make sure Roon and Roon Server are both enabled
Even if they are already enabled, please toggle them off and back on
Fully quit Roon Server from the macOS menu bar / task bar
Reboot your Mac
After reboot, launch Roon again and check if the devices is avaliable again.
Once these permissions are refreshed and the system restarted, your audio devices should reappear.
Please let us know if the issue persists after these steps, and we’ll continue from there.
Worth knowing for next time: this permission can reset itself after a macOS update, and the symptom is always the same, Roon Ready devices vanish while everything else on the network keeps working. If it happens again, the same toggle and reboot will fix it.
