Description of Issue

just installed Roon core on my MacBook to try it out before buying Nucleus. The software detected my NAD M50 and my Sonos components, but does not detect my M17 which has the BlueOS upgrade module installed.

If Core can’t see my M17, I guess the whole project is a bust as I want to replace the M50 for reliability reasons.

Are the Macbook, the Sonos, the M50, and the M17 all on the same subnet with IP addresses from the same range? What are they? I think with the Orbi Mesh it seems to be the most common problem that there may be more than one subnet, and Roon does not traverse across subnets - everything must be on the same one

I am no networking guru. the Mac is on wifi, the M17 is hard wired and does not support wifi. the router is connected to the Orbi, so everything is technically on the same network.

If I run the NAD remote App, it can see the M17 just fine, so I do not think it is a subnet issue.

If you tell us the IP addresses that each device has, we can probably tell

It depends on how everything is set up. This is not only a hardware connection question but also a software configuration question

The NAD app may or may not work similarly to the Roon app

Hey @Mark_Nicotera,

Ben with the support team here, I wanted to check in on this thread for a status update on your issue. Were you able to get the M17 connected?

I’d also test out hardwiring your core directly to your router while we troubleshoot. :+1:

If possible, please reproduce the issue, take note of the date and time, and use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader?

Thanks!
