· With the latest update of Roon version 2.60 (build 1629) the icons of my Naim Audio endpoints are missing. I’ve restarted my Roon Server, emptied the cash, powered off my endpoints, nothing helps.

Hi @MacMarty89,

We did experience some transient issues with our cloud services recently which likely caused these icons to fail to load initially. The situation has stabilized, but your Roon Server might still be holding onto the “failed” state.

Since you’ve already tried a basic restart and cache clear, could you please try clearing your endpoint cache specifically? This is a deeper reset than the standard image cache clear.

:warning: Important: Please create a fresh backup before doing this, as it will reset some settings.

Steps:

  1. Stop Roon (or RoonServer).

  2. Find and open your Roon or RoonServer folder.

  3. Navigate to Roon/Database/Registry/Core/.

  4. Delete all files in this directory.

  5. Restart Roon.

Note: Deleting these files will:

  • Log you out of Tidal/Qobuz.

  • Reset your endpoint names to default.

  • Delete saved DSP presets for those zones.

Please let us know if this brings the icons back. If it doesn’t help, you can simply restore the backup you made to return to your previous state.

Since you’re working on resolving the recent issues with the new build, I thought that I should not immediately do what you suggest, because that involves a lot more. So today I’ve once again done a ‘basic restart’ of my Roon Server. Now the icons have appeared again.

Thanks for the quick response to my support ticket. And if others experience the same issue, they now know that there are two solutions.

Hi @MacMarty89,

Great to hear that the icons are back and everything is looking normal again.

I’ll go ahead and close this topic now.

Happy listening!
