Question. I used in my demo room a Nativ Vita streamer with Nativ DAC and power supply. Nativ worked with Roon dispite going out of business during early COVID. I can see the Sonic transporter in Roon on the Nativ. But I cannot update the Nativ operating system as it tells me this device needs to be updated. Now with the new drive I see the Nativ in “Audio” but now it says I cannot enable it as it’s not certified. How do I get around that? Thanks. It was working and it did work before my hard drive crash. How do I get the Nativ vita enabled again?

Hi @Robin_Wyatt1,

Unfortunately, the Nativ is not officially supported in Roon 2.0 as a RAAT endpoint or Roon controller. You can post in Audio Gear Talk or Tinkering where other users might have suggestions, but this device is considered incompatible with Roon after Nativ’s sudden closure shuttered all support and updates.

I would return that Nativ Vita if your intent was to run it as a Roon endpoint. FOR ALL FUTURE VISITORS TO THIS THREAD: do not purchase any Nativ Vita in hopes to use it with Roon.
