Native iPad version of Roon ARC – planned or in development?

Hi Roon team,

I’m using Roon ARC on an iPad (iPadOS 18) together with my main setup at home – a Roon Core running on a MacBook Air M4 connected to a Denon AVC-X3800H with Dirac Live ART and a Rotel RB-1582 MkII for stereo duties.

ARC works great on my iPhone, but on the iPad it still runs as a scaled phone app. A native iPad version with proper landscape mode and optimized UI would make a huge difference when browsing or managing music on a larger screen.

Is an iPad-optimized ARC version planned or already in testing?

Thanks a lot for your continued work on Roon and ARC – it’s a fantastic ecosystem overall.

Hi, Putting in request for a Roon ARC app to be available on iPads. Would face similar design obstacles to Roon ARC on Windows. My guess is if the design work is done for iPads then it would be similar to how the Windows interface would work / look. Thanks!

Note that Roon Labs claim it is on their roadmap, but also be aware that they never comment on timing or publish detailed roadmaps of future features.

I can’t wait for a native app though iPad OS 26 makes the app much more bearable to use. I suggest updating your iPad OS.
