You’re right, I’d be almost positive that the DAC in the T2 would outperform the H390, but for me I’m not sure that additional AUD$2k between the U1 mini and T2 is where I want to spend the money! It’s far from settled though haha
I also have a Burson headphone amp that I would want to be fed by the Lumin. On the T2, I suppose the best way would be XLR to the Hegel, and the unbalanced RCAs to the Burson, but I read somewhere that Lumin do not recommend connecting both XLR and RCA at the same time - have you come across that issue? The Hegel and Burson would never be used at the same time, but I certainly wouldn’t want to have to constantly switch cables at at the back of the Lumin
