Need assist with Win 10 seeing NUC/Rock folders over Network

I’m not familiar with Windows 10 Network. On my Win 7 machine I could see Rock listed on the explorer under the network tab and access the files. It was not there on the Win 10 Laptop.

I found an old post Can't see ROCK in Windows-Explorer with a link to SMB1 Enabled -
https://www.tachytelic.net/2019/09/windows-10-enable-smb1/ and followed the directions.

The Rock files and now visible.

Should I leave that enabled on the laptop or only when I need the access to the Rock files?

I would leave SMB1 enabled. It really does not affect anything. You are behind router’s firewall anyway. I really do not understand why Microsoft decided to disable SMB1 on Windows 10.
