As reference, I usually highly tag my files, and do not have problems with classical works identification. All my other albums group tracks into compositions appropriately.
I have a single album (Solti’s rendition of Beethoven’s 5th and 7th), for which nothing seems to be helping grouping the tracks(in the album view) into compositions. The details are:
- I have added the roon work tag, and roon shows it as recognized when viewing the meta data in roon
- I have used Yate to set the work name tag (probably irrelevant as I’ve never had to set this before)
- When I click on the “Go to composition” item from the track edit menu in album view, it goes to the right composition.
Any guidance as to what I’m missing would be very much appreciated.
