Need help configuring Innuos Zen with Mac Mini running Roon and HQPlayer desktop

Previously I was running Roon and HQPlayer on the Mac Mini connected to my DAC via USB.

Just bought an Innuos Zen which is connect via USB to the DAC and to Ethernet wire LAN connection. System mode of Endpoint was selected and HQPlayer NAA also.

Trying to use the Mac Mini as Roon Server with Innuos Zen as streamer only. Playing music via Roon outputs sound from Mac Mini speakers.

Innuos help suggested I have the wrong output selected in Roon audio settings. Current output selected is HQPlayer.

Clearly I am missing something but cannot figure it out. I know there are others with this setup so hopefully someone can help me here.

Have you configured HQPlayer to output through Network Audio to your DAC connected behind Zen?

Apparently not. Where can I find that option?

I found it and fixed the problem. Settings is actually under Preferences.

In HQPlayer Settings (Windows / Linux) or Preferences (Mac). So please check that everything there is set to what you want to do, including output format and parameters. But in particular the output device.

Thanks for your replies. It’s working now. As for setting the parameters, I would welcome any suggestions based on my setup as described above. My DAC is a Topping D70 Pro Sabre. Thanks again.
