I own several Auralic Aries Femto’s (Silver versions, not the G1) and they are outstanding for reliability and sound quality. Plus the used market has really taken a beating - I see them selling between $500 and $700 (originally $1600)! They are dual band (2.4/5) so no issues with wifi and you can use ethernet instead. The intel wifi card on the inside is an issue as it dies out and needs to be replaced (it is very reliable for months, then suddenly less reliable, before barely functioning). Auralic fixed this, however, and you can replace it with a better card and better antennas. I did this - super easy - and my Aries has never been better. Huge step up from using Apple Airports, Phones, Bluesound Nodes, etc.
