Need to control brightness on Touchscreen

I just did a clean install of 2023.07 on a RPi 4 with a standard Raspberry Pi touchscreen. Previously the screen brightness was controlled from a pop-up panel on the touchscreen itself. I can’t get that panel to pop up. Has that changed? How do I control the screen brightness?

I still see the brightness controls when I touch the lower right corner of the screen.
This is with RoPieee 2023.07.1 - 1070

Thank you for the feedback. That’s the version I just installed. I’ve touched all 4 corners (pretty much everwhere) and I can’t get anything to pop-up. I guess I’ll try to reinstall and make sure all of the cables and attached properly.

ROPIEEE only supports the original 7" touch screen and adjustment works well with my 2x ROPIEEE installations with Displays. Do you have that 7" one?

Thanks for your reply. Yes I have the 7" touch screen. Turned out to be totally my problem. The little ribbon cable that controls the touch function had become disconnected and I hadn’t noticed it. Probably from taking the case off to re-flash the SD card. Tricky to reattach but it’s all good now. Thanks again!
