I need to down load 1.8 – I upgraded by accident and now nothing starts.

How can I get the 1.8 legacy version.

I can’t find it anywhere.. I need for Mac OS

Roon 1.8 is neither available nor supported anymore.

You have two possible options. see this post from @suedkiez -

For Mac users who are not yet able to update to macOS 12 or later, we’re also making a pre-update installer available as a temporary option. This version will not receive future updates or security fixes, and may become incompatible with current Roon Remote or ARC versions over time. You can find the installer here.

None of this works, this is infuriating. I should be warned before installing non compatible updates.

Agreed, it should not have been possible to update systems that was not compatible, but it is possible to run Roon in docker on systems that are no longer compatible.

I would open a support ticket if I were you, they are busy, but im sure they can guide you to run Roon in docker.

I’ve got another thread going on this as well.

I’m hoping that Roon offers those of us that were effectively ‘bricked’ something beyond “just spend a few hours installing OCLP”.

This is a great way to create customer churn!!!
