Referring to the original issue reported by the OP regarding minimum glibc requirements, i ran into the same issue with RoonBridge on Volumio 3.912 and opened a support ticket here:
IMHO all that is needed is to correct the releases notes to reflect the actually required minimum glic version 2.34 instead of 2.27 to avoid confusion.
