With the latest MQA releases for the NB and Vivaldi DAC, how would I set the NB MQA Capabilities in ROON?

Renderer only?
Decoder only?
Decoder and Renderer?

For that configuration you want “Decoder and Renderer.”

If the connected DAC doesn’t have an MQA renderer.

Is the core decoder switch to be “on” or “off”?

Typically, you can leave this setting on. Turn it off if the DAC has MQA capabilities and you don’t use DSP. If you use DSP Roon will perform the first unfold with DSP applied.
