Describe your network setup

Xfinity gateway that has always worked from day 1. 4 days ago ARC STOPPED with errors. Started phone gateway and intel nuc running latest Roon version. Roon works fine just arc is the problem

Hi @Scott_Scott,

Thank you for your post.

The diagnostic snippet you’ve shared indicates that the Xfinity gateway’s UPnP service is turned off or is otherwise not discoverable by Roon Server. Roon will need access to the router’s UPnP service in order to autoconfigure port forwarding again.

First, simply try to change the port number in Roon Settings → ARC and refresh the page.

If that doesn’t help, in the Xfinity app, go to WiFi -> View WiFi equipment -> Advanced Settings -> Port Forwarding, and create a manual port forwarding rule that matches the port and IP address listed in Roon Settings.

Let us know if this helps. We’ll watch for your reply. Thank you!

Hi @Scott_Scott,

We haven’t seen a response but want to ensure you’ve found the support you need. Port forwarding in particular involves a lot of jargon and granular network settings that can quickly become frustrating when the cause of a blockage isn’t clear.

Are you still encountering this problem? What do you see in ARC itself under Settings for your server connectivity status? What about in Roon Settings → ARC?

Conner sorry I hit reply on previous email saying I setup port forwarding and to close the ticket
