Hello @stitorp, and welcome to the Roon community!

Thank you for sharing that diagnostic information. Looking at the error text, we can see exactly why ARC is struggling to connect.

The 502 status code combined with "upnp_autoconfig": {"status":"NotFound"} indicates that your Roon Server is unable to automatically configure your Asus ET-BE58U router to let ARC traffic through. This almost always means that UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) is either disabled in your router’s settings or not functioning correctly.

To get ARC connected, you have two options to route the traffic to your server:

  • Option 1 (Automatic): Log into your Asus router’s web interface, locate the UPnP setting, and ensure it is enabled. Once enabled, restart your Roon Server and see if the ARC settings page connects automatically.
  • Option 2 (Manual): If you prefer to keep UPnP disabled, or if it still doesn’t work after enabling it, you will need to create a manual Port Forwarding rule in your router.

Have you already attempted to set up a manual port forwarding rule? If you have, we may just need to double-check that the server IP address and port number in the router perfectly match what is listed in your Settings > Roon ARC tab.

More information about port forwarding may be found here:

Hi @stitorp,

Your ROCK model should accommodate the Tailscale interface alongside Roon. If you’re still having trouble with port forwarding, please try this instead:

Let us know if we can help. Thank you!

I have fixed it, it was my Internet Provider that had to make a ipv4 “something” on my port forwarding. So now ARC is working.
Thanks.
