Description of Issue

I have just signed up to the Roon free trial. I downloaded the Mac software and installed it. The first time I ran it I chose the option of ‘Use this Mac’ for the Roon core. When I try to sign in to my account I get the following error: Network Error: Please check your internet connection.

The connection is fine for all other uses.

I’ve tried turning everything off and on again, uninstalling and reinstalling Roon, turning off the mac firewall turned and the Router firewall. I’ve also read similar threads here without success.

Any ideas?

Have you tried plugging the Mac directly in to your router with Ethernet cable so it has the most direct connection , see if that will let you log in for starters.

You haven’t given much info on your set up at all . Router/ switches/ etc.

Hi,

I’ve tried Ethernet and got the same result.

My router is a Telstra (Australia) 5G Home modem. It’s a simple network, no switches, etc.

I’ve managed to fix it. There was still a little snitch filter running even though the program had been uninstalled.
