Hello @Jean-Pascal_Post

Thank you for the report. We are currently seeing many users reporting this exact same diagnostic message.

The specific error codes you are seeing (“status_code”: 530 and “error code: 1016”) indicate a widespread, temporary service disruption with our cloud infrastructure provider, Cloudflare.

This outage is currently preventing your Roon Core from successfully running the ARC connectivity test.

What you need to know:

  • Do not change your router settings: Because the test itself is failing to reach our servers, the “Not Ready” status in your Roon Settings is a false alarm. Your actual network configuration and port forwarding/UPnP settings are likely perfectly fine.
  • ARC might still work: For many users, the Roon ARC app continues to function normally on their phones even though the settings page displays this error.

Next Steps:

  1. Please try ignoring the error in Roon Settings, disable Wi-Fi on your phone, and see if the ARC app can connect over cellular data.
  2. You can monitor the resolution of the server outage directly on the Cloudflare status page here: Cloudflare System Status

Once Cloudflare resolves the incident and their systems are fully operational, this error should clear up automatically. If you still have trouble connecting after the outage is resolved, please let us know!

Hi @Jean-Pascal_Post,

These upstream infrastructural issues should now be resolved.

If you’re still having problems with ARC connectivity, please post here.

Thank you!
