I have discovered controlling Roon Core via Ipad results in a couple of seconds delay.
Roon Core is on an Antipodes Core D1 that sends signal to Ethernet to Lumin U1. Remote is Ipad.
IF I use the same Ipad but run the Lumin app via UPnP etc, the Lumin U1 reacts instantly to the Ipad.
Network setup is IP Wireless router, switch 1 for office stuff, switch2 for audio, music on NAS on switch 2, Roon Core on switch2, U1 on switch2, Minimserver on NAS2 via Switch1 & Switch2, Ipad wireless.
Only change is server - either Roon Core on Antipodes or MinimServer on NAS2.
Roon seems to lag by 3 seconds when play or stop is pressed on iPad. Lumin app is more or less instant. Running Roon remote on the PC makes it instantaneous as well.
Any clues?
