Could what you are experiencing be related to and/or caused by what is detailed here?

  1. Open the Apple menu and select System Settings.

  2. Click Privacy & Security in the sidebar.

  3. Click Local Network.

  4. Check whether Roon and Roon Server are both listed and turned on.

  5. If they’re already on, turn each one off, then back on.

  6. Restart your Mac.

  7. Open Roon and check Settings > Audio again to see if your devices appear.

This worked.. Thanks greatly..

Hello @Evan_Autenreith

Good to hear, and thanks to @Mark_Sealey for pointing at the right article.

On the rollback you asked about, that is not needed here.

We will close this one out. Please post again if the devices drop off and we will reopen it.

Thank you so much for finding this!

@vadim, as you know there has been a thread pinned to the top of #support since Sequoia, but it’s now somewhat outdated. As this new article exists now and covers macOS 27, would it be possible to either edit the older thread or unpin it and create a new one with the link to the article, and pin that one?

Of course, the existing pinned thread has @connor’s explanation in the second post, so perhaps this should be preserved somehow, if it is still correct.
