Network Player w/ Analog Input to Amp (volume control included)

Looking for an all in Roon Ready player w/ DAC built in and volume control built in that can drive a power Amp directly without an additional preamp.

Using roonready.com unofficial site, I have short listed the following:

Ayre QX-5 Twenty
PS Audio Directstream w/ Network Bridge II built in
DEQX HDP-5
DEQX PreMate+
CARY AUDIO DMS-500
Krell Vanguard Universal DAC
PS DirectSTream Jr.

Which one would you guys recommend? Preferably with a remote control.

My speakers are Sonus Faber Olympica I (w/ dual PSA s1500 subs). Amp is Rotel RB-1590

Nobody is using any of these?

Certainly there are users of the PS Audio products here…I used to have the DS Jr but it runs out of DSD support at DSD64

That’s the obvious choice, but I wonder if anyone uses the other stuff.

I am leaning towards Cary Audio DMS-500. Any reasons I should not?

I just stumbled on this thread. I happen to know you settled on the Cary. Nice choice!

LOL! Small world! I had another thread running here, piggy backing on someone else’s OP with final solution.
