New 4TB SSD not showing up in Roon app after formatting (ref#18E9NG)

Describe the issue

I installed a 4TB SSD and formatted it okay. It shows up and says it is looking for files. But it does not show up in the ROON app. Only the external drive that I originally connected shows up. Additionally, how can I add locations to scan? There is no option to look at local PC files that I can find.

Describe your network setup

Verizon FIOS, all is fine.

Looks to me like it’s showing quite well.

And one more thing to read (shows you how to put music on the internal drive and create smb share so the internal storage shows up in your PC/MAC and a folder):

Thanks for writing in to us about this. The other users are probably right here. Were you able to get your SSD added into Roon?

I cannot add a folder to the internal SSD. It shows, but that is all. Nothing to select.

This is simply not possible or necessary for the internal SSD with ROCK. This is the internal SSD and it’s added automatically:
