I keep getting this recurring error message where it says the software can’t find the server, but the server is up and running when I go and look at it:
What if you select “Select a different Roon Server”?
It doesn’t give me that option. I’m not able to trigger that.
The only thing that breaks that loop is to delete and reinstall the app, and then it sees the server
I moved this to Support. Can you please fill out the information below so Roon can assist you:
Roon Server Machine
Include your operating system and machine info (Model, CPU, RAM)
Networking Gear & Setup Details
Your network gear (model of routers/switches) and if on WiFi/Ethernet
Connected Audio Devices
Specify what devices you’re using and their connection types, like USB/HDMI/Chromecast, etc.
Number of Tracks in Library
Tell us how large your music library is, eg. “30,000 tracks”
Description of Issue
Tell us about the problem you’re having in as much detail as possible. Screenshots are always appreciated!
I don’t believe it is a clickable option (it’s gray and based on what @Andrew_Gear1 stated
That’s what I was trying to clarify. “It does not give me the option” sounds as if it was not there / was not seen.
Hi @Andrew_Gear1,
Please note that, while we’re not committed to this color choice, the gray font is the normal font color for that selection button. Just to confirm once and for all, there is no action taken within the app when you attempt to click on “Select a different RoonServer”?
