I missed Fantastic Negrito’s “Please Don’t Be Dead” when it was released a few weeks ago. Love this, his take on the blues is just stunning.

Lush landscape sounds here.

Reminds me of Junip.

Great summer sounds here…

Poco, Eagles, Firefall, even the Ozark Mountain Daredevils all spring to mind listening to this album…

Influenced by Sun Ra, Idris Ackamoor and the Pyramids play politicaly charged jazz that includes afrobeat, space jazz, funk and dub. Ackamoor’s sax interplay with Sandra Poindexter on violin is often astonishing.

This thread is a case study in the uselessness of Roon’s share feature. Pardon the interruption. Back to your regularly scheduled program.

Perhaps you can elaborate?

It’s very useful to do something useless so now and again

Back from vacation, able to post a bit more now

This is a delightful folky quirky album from a relatively unknown. Some really great hooks and sweeping arrangements.

Well worth a listen…

Hi @jtnt,

I think it‘s great to get recommendations and comments from real people every now and then. This doesn‘t mean Roon isn‘t a fantastic way to discover and explore new music.:grinning:

@jtnt and @HWZ I think the share feature within Roon could easily be improved if it allowed for personal comments to be included when making the “share”. In fact I’ve lobbied for much more development to the socialisation aspects within Roon; sharing music is fundamental to enjoyment in my humble opinion.
